St. Thomas’ College of Law, on the occasion of Constitution Day, 26th November 2024, organised an Intra Collegiate Moot Court Competition. The event aimed to enhance the advocacy skills of the students and to honour the significance of Constitution Day. A total of four teams, each consisting of budding law students actively participated in the competition. Each team members showcased their skills in legal research, argumentation, court etiquette and presented compelling arguments before the judges.
The competition was adjudicated by two esteemed faculty members: Mr. Mohd Zama & Mr. Amar Singh. Their expertise and critical evaluation were instrumental in guiding and assessing the performance of the participants. Both judges also provided valuable feedback and insights to help the participants improve their advocacy skills. The event was organised under the guidance of Ms. Riti Singh, a faculty member. Her support and mentorship played a crucial role in the preparation of the teams. The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where Dr. M. K. Tyagi, Dean, St. Thomas’ College, handed out certificates to the participating students. Dr. Tyagi has congratulated all the participants and acknowledged their efforts. All in all, the event was a wonderful experience, marked by enthusiasm, learning, and a shared commitment to the legal profession.
