St. Thomas College of Law regularly introduces Value Addition Courses to equip students with practical knowledge and specialized skills relevant to the legal profession.

During the academic year 2023–24, a Value Addition Course on filing of RTI and consumer complaint applications was conducted. This course focused on developing practical skills in drafting and filing applications under the Right to Information Act, 2005 and consumer complaint mechanisms under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

In the academic year 2024–25, the college organized a Value Addition Course on Law Relating to Women and Children. This course focused on important legislations such as the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.

For the academic year 2025–26, the college introduced a Value Addition Course on Digital Literacy in the Legal Field. This course focused on familiarizing students with the growing role of technology in legal practice, including digital research tools, online legal databases, and electronic filing systems.
