St. Thomas’ College of Law organized a Legal and General Awareness Quiz Competition on 15th October, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The competition aimed to foster legal acumen and promote awareness of current affairs among students. Students from both B.A.LLB. and LL.B. programs have participated in the event and showcased their knowledge across a broad range of topics. Mr. Amar Singh, Assistant Professor of Law, was the convener of the quiz competition.

The quiz covered a variety of subjects, such as General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Constitutional Law of India, International Law, Human Rights, Law of Contract, Law of Torts, Law of Transfer of Property, Family Law, Jurisprudence and Criminal Laws. The competition was closely contested, with students from different semesters demonstrating their legal acumen. Mr. Godiyal, a senior faculty member, graciously announced the results at the end of the event.
The winners of the quiz were:

• Ms. Martha Kahmei, LL.B. 3rd semester, secured the first position.
• Ms. Pinky Yadav, B.A.LL.B. 3rd semester, secured the second position.
• Ms. Prachi Saroj, B.A.LL.B. 7th semester, secured the third position.

The quiz served not only as a platform for academic competition but also as a medium to enhance the participants’ grasp on vital legal issues and the current affairs.
